With over 10 years of experience across the disability and child protection sectors, we specialise in trauma-informed and neuro-affirming care for individuals with neurodevelopmental and neurodivergent needs, particularly those with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences.

Narrative Therapy is a collaborative and empowering approach that helps individuals explore the stories they hold about themselves and their experiences. At Elysian, we use this approach to support children and young people in separating their identity from their challenges- recognising that they are not the problem; the problem is the problem.
Through gentle conversation and creative expression, we help clients reframe unhelpful narratives, highlight strengths, and build self-understanding. This approach is especially supportive for neurodivergent and trauma-affected individuals, encouraging self-compassion, agency, and confidence in their personal story.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
DBT is a strengths-based approach that focuses on balancing acceptance and change. It helps young people manage big emotions, build distress tolerance, and strengthen relationships. Our DBT-informed sessions are supportive, compassionate, and paced to suit each person’s sensory and communication style, empowering clients to respond, not react, to life’s challenges.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
ACT encourages individuals to connect with what truly matters to them while learning new ways to handle difficult thoughts and feelings. Rather than trying to eliminate discomfort, ACT supports self-acceptance and values-based living. We use ACT to help children, adolescents, and young adults build flexibility, self-understanding, and confidence in navigating life’s ups and downs.
